Entry to the 2009 Mt. Washington Road Race is closed. The results of the lottery are posted.

Lottery Results. Please check carefully and also check that your first and second names are not reversed.

Registration opens March 1 each year and closes at midnight on March 15. There is no advantage gained by being one of the first to enter, so just be sure to enter during the 15 days.

Field entry size is limited, so most spots are assigned by a lottery. There are three options for entry and you must choose only one:

1. Individual Lottery Registration - most will register this way.
2. Family and Friends Registration - for any two or more people who want to receive the same lottery result (in or out together). Click here for more info. Your odds of being selected are the same with either method 1 or 2.
3. Lottery Bypass option is strictly limited. Check here to see if you qualify.

The race will be timed using ChampionChip technology. If you own your own (yellow) ChampionChip and register the chip code with us, you will receive a $2 discount on your entry if chosen. Otherwise, a black rental ChampionChip will be provided to you and you will need to return it in the base tent after the event. If you do not, your credit card will be charged $35 for the chip and service fees. YOUR BLACK RENTAL CHIP CANNOT BE USED AGAIN BY YOU, SO BE SURE TO RETURN IT IN THE TENT ON RACE DAY.

Short sleeved Technical Shirts will be provided to each entrant. In addition, the following items are for sale:

FOR SALE THIS YEAR: We will again offer a long sleeve Tech Running Shirt that is a Mock Turtleneck with zipper for $20. Mt. Washington Road Race logo on front and "Only One Hill" on the back. The shirt pictured below shows the style, but the color will be burgundy and it will have the race logo.

Ultra Light Micro Fiber Running Caps in three color options can be selected for $10 each. Caps have mesh side panels and are embroidered with the race logo on the front and small "Only One Hill" on the back.

Supplies of these items for sale at the race will be very limited.

If you have trouble registering online and you are using a MAC computer, we suggest you try again using a PC. Sometimes people have experienced problems when registering with a MAC.
